On Wednesday at 10:35 pm, the Waterloo Village Police Department arrested Paul M. Paradise, age 29 of 18 Iroquios Lane in Waterloo on a warrant for criminal contempt 2nd degree, stalking 4th degree and 2 counts of harassment 2nd degree.It is alleged that the defendant Paradise followed a local resident throughout the village in his car, drove by the victims house multiple times and was yelling derogatory statements towards the victim and the victim’s house while there was a stay away order of protection in effect for the defendant to stay away from a young child at the residence who was home at the time. The defendant also made several phone calls and sent multiple text messages throughout the day to the victim after being told not to contact the victim anymore.Paradise was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and was released on his own recognizance to appear back in Village Court on September 16, 2015 at 5:00 pm.A stay away order of protection was issued for the victim and the victim’s family.
