The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed the Red Apple Kwik Fill at the corner of Routes 14 and 31 in the Village of Lyons early Tuesday morning around 1:45 am. Deputies believe the suspect is Willie Freeman Jr., formerly of Lyons.During the robbery, the suspect allegedly attacked and seriously injured a female clerk as he attempted to break into the cash register. Chief Deputy Bob Hetzke tells FL News Radio that the suspect broke the clerks jaw while another female clerk locked the cash register.The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot and is currently at-large.
