The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 21st at 6:04 pm Deputies arrested 27 year old John E. Weber of 241 East main Street in Waterloo for one count of Petit larceny (class A Misdemeanor) and one count of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree (class E Felony). The arrest stems from a complaint at a Town of Junius Business where is is alleged that while Weber was employed at the business, he stole cash and merchandise. It is also alleged that Weber used his privileges to access the cash registers and falsify records to be able to steal money from the drawer. Weber was issued appearance tickets for the Town of Junius court and is to appear on the 15th of September at 7 pm to answer the charges. Deputies were assisted by Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
