Goose Watch Winery to host wine & jazz festival

The Seneca Falls Rotary will be hosting the 9th Annual Wine Water & All That Jazz Music Festival at Goose Watch Winery, 5480 Route 89 in Romulus, on Sunday, September 13th, 2014. The event begins at noon and runs until 5 pm. Ticket price is $20 and includes music and parking. Wine and Food will be available to purchase. This year we have Five Great Bands: Rebecca Colleen and the Chore Lads, Andie Stobie and the Greater Finger Lakes Jazz Orchestra, Johnny Russo and the East Hill Classic Jazz Quintet, Hoyt and the Cool Club Quartet, and Agonal Rhythm. Local Rotary “grillmasters” will be cooking hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, peppers and onions, and serving side salads from Dewey’s. No outside food or drinks are permitted on the property. We encourage participants to leave the cooking to us and sit back and enjoy the music. In addition to this fun filled afternoon, there will be a silent auction featuring items from Malawi, local get away weekends, as well as items from around the Finger Lakes. The proceeds from this event, the major fundraiser for the Seneca Falls Rotary, support many local Rotary projects such as: Camp Onseyawa, dictionaries for every third grader in Seneca County, the summer back pack program, school supplies for students, scholarships, United Way, Red Cross, and the House of Concern. Local Rotarians also support 16 irrigation projects in Malawi that benefit several villages as well as the Malawi Children’s Village. This year’s major sponsors include: Xylem Inc, Generations Bank, and The Nelson B. Delavan Foundation.
