DWI after Geneva woman ends up in Waterloo ditch

The Waterloo Police Department reports that on Wednesday at approximately 7:43 pm, Lonnie M. Hutchinson of 3917 State Route 96A in Geneva, was traveling southbound on Burgess Road in the Town of Waterloo. Hutchinson approached the intersection of North Road and Burgess Road and did not stop at a stop sign.Hutchinson’s vehicle continued straight ahead and into the ditch on the South side of North road also striking a street sign.Waterloo PD arrived on scene and interviewed Hutchinson, who was uninjured in the accident.After further investigation Hutchinson was arrested for DWI, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Speed not reasonable and Prudent, Failure to Submit to Breath Test and Open Container in a motor vehicle . Hutchinson was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500.00 cash bail or $1,000 Bond.
