Vincent Swartz, age 51 of Penn Yan, was charged with burglary and criminal mischief early Saturday morning following a police investigation into an incident that that took place on Main Street in the Village of Penn Yan.It is alleged that Swartz forced his way into a residence and caused damage while inside.Swartz was arraigned in the Village of Penn Yan Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond and is to appear in court again on Monday.
