On Thursday night at 8:02 pm, Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Joseph A. Dendis, age 50 of 1300 Route 96 in Waterloo, for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08% and unsafe backing.
The arrest stems from a two car property damage accident at the intersection of Williams Street and Bridge Street. Dendis was backing out of the parking lot at Dewey’s Third Ward Tavern when he struck a vehicle being operated by Carolyn Hylwa of Peterman Road in Seneca Falls.Both vehicles were towed from the scene and there were no injuries.Dendis was issued UTTS and released to a third party. Dendis is to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court on 08/24/2015 at 6:00 pm.
