On Thursday at approximately 11:29 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Kaytlin M. Wood, age 17 of Penn Yan, after she was found walking on the Outlet Trail near Main Street. Wood was found to be in violation of the Village Curfew Ordinance. During the encounter, Wood began yelling and swearing at Officers, causing alarm to a third party in the area. Wood was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Village Curfew Violation. Wood was issued appearance tickets and released to her guardian. She will answer the charges in the Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
