On Tuesday at approximately 3:08 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Beverly E. Wheeling,age 40 of Columbus Street in Auburn, for DWAI-Drugs, a misdemeanor, and Failure to Keep Right. Wheeling was involved in a MVA in which she went off the north side of Elwell Street and struck a NYSEG pole, breaking the pole at the base. Wheeling was transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Auburn Community Hospital for a check over and later released. Wheeling was issued UTTS to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on August 6th at 10:00 am. The vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Elwell Street was closed while NYSEG replaced the utility pole.
