The Seneca County Sheriff reports that on July 14th Investigators arrested Craig T. Kaufman, age 32 of 5023 Route 414 in Romulus, with two counts of burglary in the third degree (felony class D), criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree (misdemeanor class A) and criminal mischief in the third degree (felony class E). The charges stem from a month long investigation into the burglaries at the Boathouse Beer Garden and The Shops at Trader’s Village in the Town of Romulus. Kaufman was arraigned in the Town of Covert Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. Last month Investigators arrested Moises L. Ruiz for his alleged role in these burglaries. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may be filed.
