Waterloo Police Department arrested two females following an investigation into an accident that occurred on July 5th on North Road and Burgess Road in Waterloo. Hailey E. Freeman, age 22 of 120 East Main Street Apt 3 in Waterloo, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd and Following Too Closely. Her passenger in the car, Dora L. Hicks, age 31 of 130 East Elisha Street Apt 1 in Waterloo, was charged with Making a False Written Statement. Both females reported a false story to police pertaining to the accident where another car was rear-ended in a ‘road-rage’ incident by Freeman’s vehicle.Both females were released on appearance tickets to answer the charges in Waterloo Village Court on August 5th.
