Seneca Chamber weighs in on casino delay

The Seneca County Chamber, Tyre town officials, the Tyre town board, Supervisor McGreevy and the Board of Supervisors have all worked tirelessly to bring the Lago Resort and Casino to the Northern gateway of the Finger Lakes.On behalf of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce, we applaud the continued efforts of the Tyre Town Board and Lago to address the challenges of a few citizens in order to bring the benefits of these opportunities to the majority of Seneca County taxpayers.The town has worked diligently and fostered a business friendly climate for Seneca County in their work with the Lago team. Siting a business of this type is a sophisticated undertaking, and sometimes thereare minor details that need to be addressed. The Chamber is confident that those details are easily addressed and we look forward to helping move this project forward successfully.
