FL Pretzel Factory & Bakery to open in Seneca Falls

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce will host a Ribbon Cutting on Thursday, July 16th at 6 PM, to celebrate the grand opening of the Finger Lakes Pretzel Factory & Bakery in Seneca Falls. Finger Lakes Pretzel Factory & Bakery is located at 61 State Street in the downtown Seneca Falls business district. The new business venture is a family operation, featuring siblings Matthew, Michael and Lauren Bentz – all originally from Pennsylvania. Their goal is to introduce a ‘Philly Style (or Soft) Pretzel Bakery experience to the region and its many visitors. “We are excited to welcome the Bentz family and the Finger Lakes Pretzel Factory to our Chamber community,” said Jeff Shipley, President of the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce. “Their investment in our area is a testament to the great strides being made in Seneca County and all across the Finger Lakes in terms of economic development.” With the Seneca Falls location, the Finger Lakes Pretzel Factory & Bakery now comprises two sites (the other being Skaneateles) in the Finger Lakes region. The business dubs itself as a ‘Modern American bakery with an old fashioned twist’. It uses the freshest ingredients and strives to source locally produced goods whenever possible. Featured products include: a variety of flavors in both traditional and sweet pretzels, pretzel dogs, gourmet pretzel wraps, sandwich pretzels, soups, salads, pastries and desserts. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday from 9 am to 9 pm and on Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.
