3 arrests in connection with Owasco burglaries

Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office has made 3 arrests in connection with an April 21st burglary of a residence on Bevier Road in the Town of Owasco. The three defendants participated in the entry of an unlocked residence during the daytime hours and stole a .22 caliber rifle, some watches, and a collectible coin.Charged are: Kevin R. Breese age 18 of 5675 Bevier Road in Auburn- arrested on June 29 at the Cayuga County Jail, arraigned in the Town of Owasco Court and remanded to the jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.Jessica C. Allen age 24 of 2465 Dublin Road in Auburn- arrested July 9 at her residence, arraigned in the Town of Owasco Court and released on her own recognizance.Charles “CJ” Allen age 27 of 2465 Dublin Road in Auburn- ( brother of Jessica ) arrested July 9 on the NYS Thruway by State Police and turned over to Cayuga County Deputies in Weedsport at 11:30 pm. Charles Allen is currently on parole and was being monitored by NYS Parole with an ankle bracelet. Upon learning that he was being sought for this crime, Allen cut his bracelet off in the City of Utica. Utica Police and the State Police Thruway were notified. At approximately 10:45 pm Allen was apprehended on the Thruway. He was later arraigned in the Town of Owasco Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail without bail.All three defendants are charged the same: Burglary in the 2nd degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th degree (Felonies)Attempts to recover the stolen property are continuing.
