Woman found passed out in car, jailed for FDWI in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports that on Sunday at approximately 1:55 am the Sheriffs Deputies arrested Julie M. Poquette, 37 of 215 Wilson Street in Newark, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Felony Driving While Intoxicated with having .08% or Higher Blood Alcohol Content. The Arrest stems from a traffic stop that occurred on the 5th of July at 1:30 am on State Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo after Deputies observing a vehicle parked partially in the east bound lane and shoulder of State Route 96. During the Deputies investigation, they found Poquette to have been passed out in the drivers seat. Poquette was charged with 2 counts of Felony DWI due to a previous conviction in 2006 and was charged with parking on pavement. Poquette was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and was committed to the Seneca County Jail on $3,000 cash or $6,000 bail and is to appear for a felony hearing on the July 8th at 1:30 at Waterloo Town Court.
