Edward T. VanValkenburg, age 58 and without an address in Penn Yan, was arrested Friday evening for violating the Village Ordinance for Open Container of Alcohol for the fourth time this Summer.VanValkenburg was observed by a Police Officer to be on the sidewalk of Elm Street with an open container of alcohol.VanValkenburg was issued an Appearance Ticket and is to appear in the Village Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
