On Sunday evening at approximately 6:10 pm the Penn Yan Police Department arrested James E. Barkley, age 24 of Geneva, on a Bench Warrant issued out of the Village of Penn Yan Court for failure to pay a fine for a prior conviction of Disorderly Conduct.Barkley was found in Geneva by the Ontario County Sherriff’s Office, who detained Barkley and turned him over to the Penn Yan Police Department.Barkley was processed in Penn Yan where his fine was paid and was then released.
