TCAT will operate service as normal on Friday, July 3, but administrative offices will be closed. TCAT will not operate service on Saturday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday. Regular weekend service will resume, Sunday, July 5. Please note: administrative offices will be closed as usual on both Saturday and Sunday.TCAT, Inc. (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc.) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides public transportation for Tompkins County. TCAT’s annual ridership is nearly 4.3 million, covering a distance of about 1.6 million miles. The fleet of approximately 50 buses currently includes 8 hybrid electric-diesel buses.
