On Sunday the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Sarah D. Vestal, 52 of 130 Hamilton Street in Penn Yan, after a traffic stop on the Villages’ Main Street. Officers observed Vestal run a red light at the intersection of East Main Street and Lake Street.A check of Vestal’s license revealed that her driving privileges to be suspended for the failure to pay a fine out of Geneva in Ontario County. Vestal was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree and Failing to Stop at a Red Light.Vestal was ordered traffic tickets and is to appear in the Village of Penn Yan Court on July 13th.
