The Seneca County Sheriff reports on Friday June 26 Investigators arrested Moises L. Ruiz age 33 of Geneva. Ruiz was charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree (Felony class D), Grand Larceny in the third degree (Felony class D), and criminal mischief in the third degree (Felony class E) following a search warrant executed at Ruiz’ Herbert Street home where Investigators recovered a large quantity of stolen merchandise. Investigators allege that Ruiz forced his way into The Boathouse Beer Garden and The Shops at Trader’s Village in the Town of Romulus. Once inside it is alleged that Ruiz stole cash and merchandise and damaged property. Ruiz was arraigned in the Romulus Town Court and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. The investigation is ongoing and other suspects are being sought.
