On Tuesday the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mercedes K. Steele, age 18 of Clinton Street in Seneca Falls, for Driving While Ability Impaired-Drugs, a misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, Driving on a Sidewalk, and Driving while Restricted. 
Mercedes is accused of smoking synthetic cannabis before driving her vehicle onto the sidewalk of the Bridge Street Bridge. Steel was issued UTTs and is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on June 25th to answer the charges.
