Grand Re-Opening and Milestone Celebration; The Young Agency

The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce congratulates The Young Agency on their recent expansion and continued efforts to help revitalize the local economy. Founded in June 2012, the local real estate agency was truly started with a dollar and a dream. With a $3,000 loan from his grandparents, David rented a tiny office space in Seneca Falls, filled it with secondhand furniture, and bought three real estate signs. David’s mother, MaryAnn, got her Real Estate license so she could work with him and the two of them started the difficult task of growing an independent company from the ground up. The Young Agency quickly outgrew their tiny office and after one year David moved to the current location in Waterloo and hired an office assistant soon after. pictured left to right; Justin Hausner, Greg Sarra, William Webster, Ashley Nosek, MaryAnn Young, David Young, Sarah Greer, Laura Patrick, Deborah Waite, Theresa Dziekonski, Dana Hollenbeck, Emily Palumbos, Patrick Abbott, Mary McDonald, Emily Quill and Richard NewmanSince then the company has grown exponentially. The company’s main office is located in Waterloo on the corner of Main and Virginia Streets. During the winter of 2014 the office space was expanded and is now the largest realestate office in the area at nearly 3,500 square feet. Around the same time David hired an associate broker, three additional sales agents, and another part time office assistant. With a larger staff The Young Agency is able to immediately respond to every customer, whether it be buying, selling, or managing property, or tenants looking for apartment rentals.President of the company, David W.
