On Friday afternoon, at 1:00 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dieter Tackett, age 32, on a warrant issued out of the Town of Varick Court. The warrant was the result of an investigation into Domestic Violence incidents that occurred at a Town of Varick residence.It is alleged that Tackett engaged in abusive physical and verbal acts against a Town of Varick female in the presence of young children. The female suffered superficial injuries from these acts.Tackett was charged with Harassment in the second degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned in the Town of Romulus Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1000 cash, $2000 bond.A full Class A (stay away) Order of protection was issued by the court. Tackett is to re-appear in the Town of Varick Court at a later date to answer the charges.
