Forged inspection sticker charge for Seneca Falls driver

On Monday at 7:00 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Anthony J. Heid, age 23 of 41 Stevenson Street in Seneca Falls, following a traffic stop on East Bayard Street in the Town of Seneca Falls.While on the traffic stop, it was discovered that the inspection status was expired, however the inspection sticker on the windshield was valid. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the inspection sticker was taken off of another vehicle and placed on this vehicle without having been inspected.Heid was issued a ticket for displaying a forged inspection sticker, an unclassified misdemeanor and Uninspected Motor Vehicle. Heid is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 6/08/2015 at 6:00 pm.
