Hunt for cigarette butts damages property in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on April 27th at approximately 9:44 am Sheriff Deputies arrested Alexander P. Marshall, age 30 of 548 White Springs Road in Geneva, and his brother Scott C. Marshall, age 36 of 2132 Route 5&20 in Seneca Falls. Both were charged with criminal mischief 4th degree.It is alleged that the two brothers caused damage to a plastic smoking receptacle belonging to a Town Of Waterloo business. The two forced the receptacle apart so they could get the used cigarette butts that were located inside of the smoking receptacle. When the brothers forced the receptacle apart they caused damage to it.The Marshall’s were issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on 05/13/15 at 1:30 pm to answer to the charge.
