Seneca Meadows Announces New District Manager

Seneca Meadows, Inc. announced today that Kyle Black has been named the company’s new District Manager. Mr. Black is a Seneca County native and currently resides in Junius with his family. He has over 25 years of experience in heavy civil construction and waste management construction and operations, and has been with the company since 2000.Mr. Black has been an active member of the team at Seneca Meadows that earned the company the 2014 EPA Partnership & Project of the Year Award, and the 2012 SWANA (Solid Waste Association North America) Award for Excellence in Landfill Management.“I am honored to lead the team at Seneca Meadows,” Black writes. “They are a talented and hard working group that has consistently earned recognition for our company in the areas of business, community service and environmental stewardship. I look forward to continuing the great relationships our company has established with the wonderful organizations and individuals in our community. Together, we can make a difference.”Mr. Black is a 1985 graduate of Mynderse Academy and earned a degree in Construction Engineering at Canton Technical College. In addition to his professional involvement in the community, Mr. Black has volunteered his time as a coach for the Waterloo Community Center’s youth basketball and lacrosse programs, has served on the Waterloo High School’s New York State Softball Championship Grounds Committee, and has volunteered and helped with fundraising during his children’s involvement with the Waterloo High School’s soccer, basketball, lacrosse and softball programs.
