Over the past week, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested several individuals. Arrested were the following: Anthony J. Wickum age 22 of 2295 West Tyre Road in Seneca Falls was charged with: Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (three counts), Class B FeloniesCriminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (three counts), Class B Felonies It is alleged that Wickum sold cocaine in the Town of Seneca Falls on three separate occasions. At the time of arrest, Wickum was found to be in possession of eleven individually packaged pouches of suspected synthetic marijuana (also known as “spice”). Wickum was arraigned in the Lodi Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail/$1,000 secured bond. Wickum is to reappear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on May 7 at 6 pm. The Seneca Falls Police Department assisted in the investigation. Elizabeth H. Potter age 20 of 19 Garfield Street in Newark was charged with Sale of an Imitation Controlled Substance, Class A Misdemeanor. It is alleged that Potter sold a substance portrayed as heroin to another person in the Village of Waterloo. Potter was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on May 13 at 9 am. Desmond L. Carrion age 18 of 150 Lyceum Heights in Geneva was taken into custody in the City of Geneva as he was wanted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office for failing to pay a fine in the Seneca County Court stemming from a 2013 arrest by the Narcotics Unit. Carrion was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. Carrion is to reappear in the Seneca County Court at a later date. Candy J. Tomberelli age 40 of 255 Iradell Road in Ithaca was taken into custody on Route 96 in the Town of Fayette as she was wanted out of the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office on six felonies and one misdemeanor. Tomberelli was wanted on charges of: Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree (two counts), Class E FeloniesCriminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, Class E FelonyScheme to Defraud in the First Degree (two counts), Class E FeloniesUnlawful Possession of Personal Identification Information in the Third Degree, Class A Misdemeanor Tomberelli was turned over to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for further action.
