Waterloo man arrested while incarcerated – FingerLakes1.com Archive

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Carl Amesbury age 22 of 120 East William Street in Waterloo on Wednesday. Amesbury who is currently incarcerated in the Seneca County Correctional Facility for an unrelated matter was charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the first degree following the investigation of an incident that occurred on March 23rd 2015. It is alleged that Amesbury filed false information at the Seneca County Division of Human Services in an attempt to obtain public benefit money or services which he would not be entitled to if he had filed the proper information. Amesbury was arraigned on the new charge before the Seneca Falls Town Court’s Justice Lafler while he was appearing there for the matter in which he is incarcerated on. He was remanded back to the Seneca County Correctional Facility and is scheduled to re-appear back at the court on May 27 for further court action.
