On Thursday at 11:00 pm, Waterloo Police Department arrested Gerald D Veeder, age 51 residing at 1 Center Street Apartment 2 in Waterloo, on charges of Disorderly Conduct (Obscene Language) and Resisting Arrest. Veeder was observed walking on Church St in an intoxicated condition and was offered a ride home by police. He became very belligerent and aggressive towards police and started fighting with two Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies that responded as backup. Veeder was subdued with a Taser unit and taken into custody following the struggle.Veeder was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and sent to SCCF on $500 cash bail or $1000 bond with a return date of 4/22/15. Waterloo PD was assisted at the scene by members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Dept, State Police and State Park Police.
