Ontario Deputies chase same man twice this morning

Ontario County Deputies attempted to pull over 21 year old Chad Featherly around 1 am this morning for Failure to Keep Right on Sanitarium Road in the Town of Phelps.Featherly refused to pull over for the Deputies and sped away towards Wayne County with speeds reaching over 100 MPH. At this point Deputies decided to break away and end the chase.Later Featherly was once again spotted in Ontario County and a new chase began, heading South towards Yates County. The speeds went beyond 100 MPH until Featherly’s car ended up in a ditch on Pre Emption Road.But the chase was not over. Deputies approached the vehicle but found Featherly had ran on foot and could not locate him.Featherly ultimately surrendered himself to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Fleeing from Police, Reckless Driving, as well as a handful of traffic tickets.Featherly was remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
