On Friday at approximately 2:49 pm the Penn Yan Police Department charged 23 year old Zachary R. Waite of Penn Yan with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd.Police arrested Waite on a Superior Court warrant following an investigation into drug sales within the Village. Waite is accused of selling heroin and cocaine.Police also seized Waite’s vehicle in the arrest.Waite was arraigned in the Yates County Court and remanded to Yates County Jail on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
