The Waterloo Police Department reports that on Friday at 11:30 pm officers arrested 35 year old Jenelle A. Cook of 25 North Seneca Street in Waterloo. Cook was charged with Felony Driving While intoxicated, Felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. The charges stem from a joint investigation conducted with the Seneca County Probation Department. Cook was stopped on East Main Street and found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated by drugs, and Cook had a prior conviction for Driving While Intoxicated in the past 10 years.Cook was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash/$10,000 insured bond bail. Cook is to appear back in the Village of Waterloo Court on Wednesday at 11:00 am.A passenger in the vehicle Samuel L. McCullough, age 24 of 630 Bay Street in Rochester, was also taken into custody. McCullough was found to have an outstanding probation violation warrant and was turned over to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.The Waterloo Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Seneca Falls Police Department, New York State Park Police, and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
