Woman charged after stopping cars in middle of 5&20

The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports that on Thursday morning, just after midnight, Sheriffs Deputies arrested Keisha R. Rowland, age 35 of 41 Church Street apartment F5 in Waterloo, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree .The arrest stems from an incident that occurred around 12:04 am on State Routes 5 & 20 in the Town of Seneca Falls, where Rowland was observed yelling and screaming while running in the middle of the roadway. Rowland stopped several cars which were traveling in the east bound lane on State Routes 5 & 20 in an attempt to jump in the vehicles.Rowland became highly combative with the Sheriffs Deputies after police arrived on the scene. Rowland was subsequently taken into custody and was found in Possession of 11 individual baggies of Crack Cocaine.Rowland was charged with CPCS 3rd , Disorderly Conduct and Resisting arrest. Rowland was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where she was remanded to the custody of the Seneca County Correctional Facility on 2,000.00 cash bail 4,000.00 bail bond and is to re appear on the 7th of May 2015 at 6:00 pm. The Seneca County Sheriffs Office was assisted by New York State Park Police.
