Seneca Falls woman charged with welfare fraud over $3G

On Wednesday April 1 at 9:00 am Seneca County Sheriff Investigators arrested Patricia J. Samuelson, age 49 of 5 Barker Street in Seneca Falls, for welfare fraud in the third degree and grand larceny in the third degree. The charges stem from an investigation in which between the dates of August, 2014 and February, 2015 Samuelson received $3493.00 in Seneca County Social Services benefits she was not entitiled to. Samuelson was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court where she was released without bail and is to re-appear on May 6 to answer to the charges.
