On April 1 at 8:30 AM deputies responded to a barn fire located at 7591 Potter Morgan Road in the Town of Ovid. Upon arrival the barn was fully engulfed in flames. Interlaken Fire Department responded and was assisted by the Ovid, Lodi and Trumansburg Fire Departments. The barn and a small milk house were destroyed by the fire. Members of the Seneca County Fire Investigation team responded and an investigation issued. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. No one was injured during the blaze.
