The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday at 11:26 pm they were called to the area of State Rt 414 and Ernsberger Road for the report of a Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. After investigation it was found that Roy C Cuffe, Age 28 of 192 Ovid Street in Seneca Falls, was traveling Westbound on Ernsberger Road when he slid through the stop sign and hit the west side ditch of State Rt 414. Cuffe’s speed and icy road conditions were identified as the cause for the accident. Cuffe was transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital with complaints of neck and back pain. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Ovid Fire and the New York State Park Police.
