Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Wednesday at 06:10 am Deputies responded to the area of Nine Foot Road and Thorn Road in the Town of Junius for a report of a pick-up truck-horse accident.Erick J. Byork age 54 of 665 Nine Foot Road in Clyde was Southbound on Nine Foot Road when a horse ran in front of his pick-up truck causing the accident.The horse was owned by Isaiah B. Eicher age 55 of 791 Nine Foot Road in Clyde. The animal died from injuries suffered from the accident.Byork was not injured but the truck sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene.
