Roc man arrested on several counts in Ovid

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday at approximately 5:12 pm Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Wesley E. Wiggins Jr., age 23 of 1605 Culver Road in Rochester, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Sheriff’s Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Wiggins vehicle for a violation in the Town of Ovid. Upon investigation, it was found that Wiggins was operating the motor vehicle with a suspended license. Sheriff’s Deputies also found Wiggins to be in possession of marijuana. Wiggins was also charged with inadequate stop lamps, unlicensed operator, and unregistered motor vehicleWiggins was arraigned before the Fayette Town Court and released. Wiggins is to reappear at the Town of Fayette Court on May 6 at 7:00 pm.
