Gallagher’s named March’s Business of the Month

The Geneva Business Improvement District is pleased to announce that Gallagher’s Irish Pub has been awarded and named March’s Business of the Month. In addition it was the site of the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce’s March Business After Hours. Gallagher’s is owned and operated by Tim Peters and Dan Gallagher. It opened its doors in 1990, replacing Wylie J’s, also formerly Renzi’s. In the past 25 years Gallagher’s has become known as the premier Irish Pub in the Geneva area, serving a number of loyal patrons since its opening. Aside from Irish coffee and Lucky Charms on St. Patrick’s Day, Gallagher’s is the go-to neighborhood pub for NFL Football on Sundays during the fall. With six televisions situated throughout the building you can find a sporting event on at all times, and if you’re lucky enough you’ll be able to indulge in one of the appetizer spread’s that the owners occasionally put out for loyal fans.Gallagher’s is a local pub that pays homage to both local and visiting Fire and Police Departments with numerous patches decorating the walls. It is the place to go if you’re looking for a hometown crowd and a cold drink. The Chamber’s Business After Hours on March 11th packed the pub and allowed members to network in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. In addition, the friendly bartenders and delicious appetizers helped make for a very successful March mixer. “Great event! Met new friends and visited with old friends. Timmy’s food was excellent and appreciated,” commented BID Director John Hicks. Gallagher’s is the place where Guinness and good times are always on tap.
