Canandaigua’s outstanding 2014-15 boys varsity basketball season came to an end in the semifinal round of the Section V Class A1 tournament at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester late Tuesday night. The #2 seed Braves lost to #3 Pittsford-Sutherland 52-37 to finish with a 16-4 record. Dillon Mergenthaler led Canandaigua with 10 points in the loss.In the other A1 semifinal, Greece Athena remains undefeated after defeating Wilson Magnet 72-59.
