The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, on Wednesday at approximately 3 pm Deputies responded to 2546 Edwards Road in Waterloo for a reported vehicle fire. Upon Deputies arrival the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames in the driveway of the above address.Border City Fire Department arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. The owner of the vehicle, Peggy Harmon-Jacob of 4919 Jordan Rd. in Elbridge, was letting her daughter, Brittany A. Grady age 22, borrow the vehicle at the time of the fire. The vehicle was a total loss and was estimated to be valued at $1000. There were no injuries sustained during the incident. Border City Fire Chief Morabito ruled that the fire was accidental caused by an electrical issue under the hood.
