On Sunday afternoon, Penn Yan Police arrested Stuart Ray Wood, age 35 of Romulus, on an outstanding felony bench warrant issued on December 18th of 2006 from the Ontario County Court for failing to comply with a sentence on a conviction of grand larceny in the 4th degree.Police were investigating an incident in the Village when it was discovered that Wood had an active felony warrant.Wood was taken into custody and transported to the Penn Yan Police Department where he was turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment.
