The Seneca County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mackenzie M. Green has joined the organization as its Membership Development Manager.Green is a Finger Lakes native and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Keuka College. She comes to the Chamber from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, where she was tasked with managing several marketing programs and projects for the prestigious membership organization. In addition, she has gained a considerable amount of experience and professional contacts working for the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce and the New York Wine and Grape Foundation.“We are excited to welcome Mackenzie to the Seneca County Chamber team,” said Chamber President Jeff Shipley. “Her skills and experience, along with a passion for helping our local businesses succeed will make her an invaluable asset to our Chamber community.” In her role, Mackenzie will be responsible for efforts that result in the recruitment of new members and retention of existing members. She will work in collaboration with Chamber staff to evaluate, identify and implement new programs or services that help engage Chamber membership and result in the growth of the organization’s non-dues revenue. She will also help manage the Chamber’s marketing efforts including programs such as: ribbon-cuttings, Business of the Month, Ca$h Mobs and the Coffee & Conversation series. She will also be the primary staff liaison and manager of the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee.Established in 1968, the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce represents over 500 businesses and associate members in the Central Finger Lakes region.
