Travel advisory in Seneca County

Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg in consultation with Seneca County Highway Superintendent Roy Gates has issued a travel advisory for all County Roads. Blowing and drifting snow has reduced visibilty and caused lane reductions most especially on North/South County roads. Motorist’s are cautioned to exercise due care when travelling on north/south roads and be aware of blowing and drifting snow which has resulted in some lanes being covered by drifting. Seneca County Highway crews are out in force, however blowing and drifting snow has made their job difficult on North/South County roads. With temperatures below zero and dangerous road conditions, Sheriff Jack Stenberg urges motorists “If you don’t have to travel today, don’t.”
