On January 27th at approximately 5:30 pm, The Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Fenton E. Calhoun, age 74 of Ovid Street in Seneca Falls. Calhoun was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Keep Right.The arrest stems from a personal injury auto accident that occurred earlier in the day where it is alleged that Calhoun crossed over the center line of the road and hit an oncoming vehicle.Calhoun sustained a head injury in the accident and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for treatment. The other driver in the accident did not sustain any injuries.Calhoun is due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 02/16/15 at 6:00 pm to answer the charges.The incident remains under investigation.
