Heroin found at traffic stop, more drugs at Fayette home

A joint investigation between the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit has led to the arrests of two people related to the sale and distribution of illicit drugs in the local community. Sheriff’s Investigators arrested the following people: Kevin M. Patrick age 30 of 3667 Route 96A in Geneva was charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B FelonyCriminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, Class A Misdemeanor (3 counts)Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, Class A Misdemeanor (3 counts)Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument, Class A MisdemeanorUnlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation Christina L. Sanpietro age 26, of the same address, was charged with: Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, Class A Misdemeanor (2 counts)Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation The charges are a result of a traffic stop conducted on Border City Road in the Town of Waterloo where Patrick was found to be in possession of eleven individually packaged baggies of heroin that was intended to be sold. A six year old child was also in the vehicle at the time. Shortly after the traffic stop, members of the Sheriff’s Office and Geneva Police Department executed a search warrant at Patrick and Sanpietro’s residence in the Town of Fayette. Sheriff’s Investigators seized quantities of cocaine, morphine, oxycodone, marijuana, and hypodermic needles. It was also discovered that three children live in the home. Patrick was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond. Patrick is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on February 9, 2015 at 9 am. Sanpietro was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Fayette Town Court on March 4, 2015 at 7 pm. Seneca County Child Protective Services is now assisting in the investigation.
