Sunshine over the FLX today after cold start

Clear skies over most of the region have allowed temperatures to drop to near or below 0º this morning. Winds are thankfully light, so wind chills are only slightly lower than the temperature.A few light lake effect flurries are scattered about this morning with little to no accumulation expected. Any lake effect flurries should move north today as winds shift towards the southwest.With sunny skies and those southwesterly winds, temperatures should rise to near 20º today.After midnight, a clipper system will approach the area with some light snow that will linger into Wednesday morning. A couple of inches will be possible before there is a lull in the snow Wednesday afternoon.Milder temperatures will move in behind this first batch of precipitation, with highs Wednesday in the low 30s.A cold front will move through Wednesday night or Thursday with some additional snow.
