CITY SEEKS ENGAGED RESIDENTS FOR COLLABORATIVE The Geneva City Council is seeking engaged residents interested in shaping the City’s collaborative approach with the Town of Geneva at development and service delivery. The request stems from the joint City/Town of Geneva joint meeting that was held on November 19, 2014. Three collaborative work groups were created that will address the following service areas: Water, Sewer, and Drainage; Transportation, Public Safety, and Purchasing; and Housing, Recreation, and Economic Development. Interested residents should submit a letter of interest to the City Manager via email at [email protected], or via mail at 47 Castle Street. Please provide background on your expertise in the areas identified, and indicate the priority area on which you would like to work. City Council will announce selections at their February meeting. Work groups will meet beginning in February, and will convene no fewer than 3 times a year to review information and make recommendations toward collaboration efforts.
