Big Red women enter Ivy play on hot streak

Though most Cornell fans were home for the holidays, the women’s basketball team did not let a smaller home crowd affect its play. The Red played a total of seven games since classes ended, including its first Ivy League competition. Out of those seven games, the squad won six, beating Robert Morris, Loyola, Vermont, Youngstown State, Howard and Ivy rival Columbia.
