Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Ian J. Woodward, age 29 of 101 N. Cummings Ave. in Silver Springs, New York, after an investigation into a level three registered sex offender living in Seneca County without notifying police of his address change.Woodward was arrested on Monday at a Town of Junius residence where he was found to be living without notifying police. Any registered sex offender is required to notify the jurisdictional police department within 10 days of an address change.Woodward was arraigned in the Town of Junius court where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail and is due to return to Town of Junius court today at 3:00 pm for his next appearance. Sheriff’s Investigators were assisted by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office who have additional charges pending in Woodward for other violations of the Sex Offender registration Act.
